Love arcade games? Is it late at night and there’s nothing to do? Are you currently plagued by quarters and know not what to do with them? Rest assured, FanimeCon has just the place to spend all of those pesky quarters. Welcome to the coin-operated sanctuary, the mystical Arcade. FanimeCon hosts a twenty-four hour arcade full of numerous machines. Once inside, you can find an assortment of games from Bemani games to Street Fighter, DDR, UFO games and many, many others. Bring your friends or play alone, either way there is much merriment to be made at the FanimeCon Arcade.
E-gaming
E-gaming is the hub for true competitive gaming, so if you wish to test your skills against other worthy opponents than this is the place you will want to be. FanimeCon hosts all sorts of games from the newest and fastest next generation games, to the retro, yet well loved, games from yesteryear. They come in all varieties and forms, even for those who prefer a keyboard and a mouse and for the ones. From PC to NES to PS3 and everything in between there will be a system for everyone to use and enjoy. Soon there will be a list posted of featured video games, as well as tournaments that will be held at FanimeCon 2010 for anyone that wishes to compete in light-hearted fun.
Gaming Tournaments
Many gamers can agree that banding together to test gaming skills is one of the greatest feelings you con achieve. In the dungeon of gaming you can join in on some of these tournaments and receive prizes! The details for the 2010 run of tournaments is still a mystery, but rest assured FanimeCon will host many!
Tabletop Gaming
Maybe electronic gaming doesn’t suit everyone’s fancy. What about those people who aren’t so good with remote controls, what are they to do? Do not fret, for FanimeCon will also provide space for Tabletop Gaming. Some board games will be provided, but FanimeCon also encourages attendees to bring their own games to play, as there will be plenty of space provided. Come by and make a party out of it!
