Cosplay workshops are small demos and classes that teach things that the average to semiprofessional cosplayer may want to know. From how to sew and wig basics, to more advance items like making hairlines and custom wig heads. Check them out in the Cosplay Hangout!
All About Spiking

Is it REALLY possible to spike a wig or is everyone on the internet lying? The Wig Doctor is here to show you the many MANY ways you can make your hair defy gravity!
Can She Fix It Challenge
Sunday, 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm
Do you have a wig so hopeless, so tangled, so near death that even the Wig Doctor couldn’t hope to fix it? Then bring it in and put the Wig Doctor to the test! The audience gets to choose which dumpster fire of a wig the Wig Doctor will attempt to save in only 30 minutes! But let’s not make it too easy. Be sure to come equipped with any complicated, long winded, or just plain odd questions to keep the Doctor on her toes as she attempts to do the impossible.
Cosplay and Contact Lenses

How to safely and effectively wear contact lenses for your cosplay, as well as tips and tricks to make wearing contact lenses easier and more comfortable!
Custom Wig Head Workshop
Saturday, 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm
Everyone has a different head size and shape. This can make wig styling particularly challenging. The Wig Doctor wants to help make things easier by showing you how to make a duct tape dummy for your head that you can take with you and put on your wig head at home! Materials will be provided, but a partner is needed for assistance. Bring a friend or be comfortable partnering up with someone!
Cutting, Curling, and Layering
Sunday, 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm
So you finally have your wig…. Now what? How do you turn a wall of hair into a beautiful waterfall of curls? How do you cut the bangs? How do you layer a wig without it looking like it lost a fight with a lawn mower? Stop on by and let the Wig Doctor guide you!
How to Make Hairlines
Saturday, 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Not all characters have bangs in front of their faces. For those that have a swept back look or completely exposed hairline, it can be a hard look to replicate. Thankfully the Wig Doctor knows just what to do! From glued hairlines to the fine art of ventilation, she’ll teach you everything you need to know!
