Ryotaro Okiayu

Ryotaro Okiayu is a Japanese voice actor affiliated with Aoni Production. He is an industry veteran with nearly three decades of experience under his belt. Mr. Okiayu has voiced a plethora of classic characters such as Hisashi “I want to play basketball” Mitsui in SLAM DUNK, Treize Kushrenada in Gundam Wing, Yuu Matsuura in Marmalade Boy, Katsuhiko Jinnai in El-Hazard, and Tigers Eye in Sailor Moon SuperS. Other notable roles include Byakuya Kuchiki in BLEACH, Scar in Fullmetal Alchemist, Kunimitsu Tezuka in The Prince of Tennis, Shigure Sohma in Fruits Basket, Akio Furukawa in CLANNAD, Lancer of Black in Fate/Aprocrypha, and the titular character in Toriko. The list just goes on!

Musically, Mr. Okiayu has released three solo albums, as well as a number of singles and albums with voice actor unit E.M.U from the ’90s series Graduation M. He continues to be involved with the Prince of Tennis franchise, having released over 20 character song CDs as Seigaku’s captain Tezuka.
