Join our amazing FanimeCon Community Hosts for another great year of props, friends, and photo ops from a variety of fandoms. Drop into the Mihoyo-verse, or feel that air of nostalgia with the pre-2001 gathering! From Dragon Ball to Studio Ghibli, Pokémon to The Locked Tomb, our hosts’ imaginations know no bounds!

Has your cosplay popped a stitch? Are you in desperate need of hot glue? Visit our sister space, the Cosplay Repair Lounge, where cosplayers can find a huge assortment of items to fix their costumes and props.
What can I do at a Cosplay Gathering?
Our department schedules and coordinates the various cosplay gatherings throughout the convention. All Gatherings that are printed in the Pocket Guide and found on the website go through us! Whether it is making sure our hosts are hydrated or helping out with crowd control; whatever they need, we’re there!
All happenings at each gathering are 100% organized “by fans, for fans!”
Whether you’re in costume or just an admirer, everyone is welcome.
What does the Cosplay Gatherings department do?
Our department schedules and coordinates the various cosplay gatherings throughout the convention. All Gatherings that are printed in the Pocket Guide and found on the website go through us! Whether it is making sure our hosts are hydrated or helping out with crowd control; whatever they need, we’re there!
Though our staff members don’t take any photos ourselves, we work directly with the Cosplay Photography department to coordinate as much free photography coverage to our gatherings as possible. These special volunteers help distribute high quality, edited photos for the benefit of all cosplayers and fans!

There are several ways to help make Gatherings a great experience for our hosts and attendees! We have open positions for at-con support staff and are always looking for people interested in taking on pre-convention planning and leadership roles.
Not ready to commit to being on staff? The volunteers department is a great option for anyone who would like to try helping out before committing to a staffing role.
