COVID-19 Vaccination Policy

January 4, 2023

(Last updated: 03/02/2026)

This year, FanimeCon’s policies regarding COVID-19 are changing.

Everyone attending FanimeCon 2026 is no longer required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 but are strongly recommended to wear a mask covering the nose and mouth in all indoor FanimeCon event spaces.

We would like to encourage everyone attending to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before the start of con in order to be better protected. Please see the U.S. Centers for Disease and Control (CDC) for recognized vaccines to protect yourself and others when attending FanimeCon [link].

The rules may change based on new guidelines from federal, state, and local agencies. As a private event, we may enact stricter COVID-19 policies than are required. We ask for your help in following our COVID-19 policies and your understanding.
