Born in Osaka, Japan, Yuriko Yamaguchi enjoyed acting from a young age, participating in stage plays during middle school. Her illustrious voice acting career which spans over three decades started off with a bang in 1995 when she debuted as Ritsuko Akagi in the anime classic Neon Genesis Evangelion. She has since voiced many memorable characters such as Nurse Joy in Pokemon (2002-2010) and Vados in Dragon Ball Super, but perhaps her most well known role is Nico Robin in ONE PIECE, a role she has performed for over 25 years.
