Get involved behind the scenes and volunteer for FanimeCon! Volunteering is a great way to contribute to the con’s operations while getting your badge reimbursed. Once you pick up your badge, you can come over to our department to get started.

We are also offering prizes and giveaways exclusively for volunteers! We will have prizes and rewards such as commemorative stickers, plushies, and figures. Two new rewards we are offering this year are ExpressPasses and our Grand Prize Giveaway. ExpressPasses are vouchers that will give you priority access to various Main Events or perks in the convention. Our Grand Prize Giveaway is a drawing exclusive to Full Weekend Badge volunteers, with prizes such as autographs from the Guest of Honors, and a Sony PlayStation® 5.

Idris’ Closet’s Hop to the Top: Origami Frog Game is back again this year, with brand new prizes! Come by Idris’ Closet for details and have your attendee badge ready to enter the giveaway! No purchases or donations are necessary to enter the giveaway. Additional ticket opportunities offered daily! Donations and purchases will not improve your chances of winning.

‼️Con is just around the corner!‼️

In order to pick up your badge, please make sure you have these three items for each person in your party:

• Photo I.D. 
  • Please make sure the name on your I.D. matches the name on your proof of vaccination.
  • In the case of legal name changes where the name on the I.D. and the name on the vaccination records no longer match, you will need to bring another form of identification that links you to the proof of vaccination.

• Proof of vaccination
  • We will accept physical or digital vaccination cards so long as we can see that:
    • the name on the card matches your I.D. and 
    • you are fully vaccinated and boosted per FanimeCon’s COVID-19 policy (https://www.fanime.com/news/covid-19-vaccination-policy/).
  • For those vaccinated outside of the United States, FanimeCon will only be accepting vaccinations approved by the CDC (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/proof-of-vaccination.html#covid-vaccines).
  • Medical and personal exemptions, or a negative COVID-19 test, will NOT be accepted in lieu of vaccination.

• Face Mask
  • We will require all attendees, guests, and staff to wear a mask covering the nose and mouth in all FanimeCon indoor event spaces.
  • Prolonged periods of mask removal are not permitted for eating or drinking; the mask must be worn between bites, sips, and taking medication. 
  • For cosplayers with large helmets/cosplay masks, a mask must be worn underneath the cosplay. 
  • We strongly recommend choosing a mask based on the CDC mask guidelines (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/types-of-masks.html).
